What You’ll Do
Operate a variety of survey equipment, including Trimble Robotic Total Stations, GPS, laser scanners, and TSC5 data collectors.
Maintain clear, accurate, and professional field notes.
Supervise and mentor field crew personnel and lead a one- to two-person crew.
Collect data for boundary, topographic, industrial, and construction surveys.
Conduct quality control by reviewing final maps and ensuring accuracy.
Continuously pursue professional development to expand knowledge, resolve boundary issues, and prepare for LSIT/PLS exams.
Who You Are
A minimum of 2+ years’ relevant experience as a Survey Crew Leader, with demonstrated growth in responsibilities preferred.
Must have valid driver's license and a clean driving record.
You have a "Do what needs to be done" mindset, taking ownership beyond assigned tasks and stepping in wherever needed to keep projects, teams, and customers supported and running smoothly
Strong commitment to maintaining safety standards in the field.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
Nice to Have
Associate’s or Bachelor of Science degree in Land Surveying or a related field.
Land Survey Intern (LSI) certification.
Strong team player with the ability to collaborate effectively with others.
Demonstrated leadership qualities and the ability to guide and motivate a team.
Solid mathematical background with a practical understanding of surveying calculations.
