We're looking for a Senior Proposal Manager who’s ready to bring energy, creativity, and precision to a high-impact role on our marketing and business development team. What You’ll Do
- Lead the development of high-quality proposals, statements of qualifications
- (SOQs), and pursuit materials supporting energy, infrastructure, and utility-focused projects.
- Manage the full proposal lifecycle, from go/no-go support and pursuit strategy through content development, editing, coordination, and final submission.
- Collaborate closely with project managers, engineers, technical leads, and business development staff to gather technical content and translate complex energy concepts into clear, client-focused messaging.
- Review RFPs, RFQs, and SOQs to ensure full compliance while highlighting EPS’s technical expertise, delivery approach, and differentiators within the energy space.
- Support client interview strategy and preparation, including development of presentation materials, key messaging, and talking points aligned with pursuit goals.
- Maintain and organize proposal and marketing content within the CRM, including resumes, project descriptions, technical narratives, and energy-sector experience highlights.
- You bring 5+ years of proposal experience in the energy consulting or the A/E/C industry, with a strong understanding of Qualifications-Based Selection (QBS).
- You’re a strong writer and editor who can translate complex technical and engineering concepts, particularly in energy and infrastructure, into clear, compelling, client-focused messaging.
- You’re self-motivated and highly organized, with the ability to manage multiple pursuits, deadlines, and priorities in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
- You collaborate easily with engineers, project managers, and business development professionals and are comfortable working with a wide range of technical and non-technical stakeholders.
- You’re proficient with Adobe InDesign and Microsoft Office and comfortable working in CRM systems to manage resumes, project data, and pursuit materials.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, Marketing, or a related field.
- Familiarity with Unanet-Cosential (or similar CRM).
- Experience preparing interview materials and supporting pursuit strategy.
- Knowledge of branding, layout design, and adherence to writing style guides.
- Experience submitting to public agencies at the local, state, or federal level.
