We’re looking for a Marketing Systems & CRM Operations Manager who brings strategic thinking, creativity, and precision to a high-impact role within our marketing and business development team. This position plays a critical role in driving growth across multiple AKS offices by leading competitive pursuits, strengthening positioning strategies, and delivering compelling, compliant proposals in the energy and infrastructure space. What You’ll Do
- Oversee CRM and pipeline management within Unanet, ensuring accurate opportunity tracking, data integrity, and alignment with regional and sector leaders to support pursuit prioritization and pipeline health.
- Develop and maintain dashboards, metrics, and reporting to track capture rates, hit rates, and overall proposal performance, turning data into actionable insights for leadership.
- Drive AI integration and process innovation by implementing AI-assisted workflows for proposal development, research, competitive analysis, and content creation, while supporting responsible adoption through training and best practices.
- Conduct market and competitive research to support strategic pursuits, including monitoring procurement portals, funding sources, industry trends, and client intelligence relevant to Energy and Infrastructure sectors.
- Lead end-to-end proposal development for SOQs, RFQs, and RFPs across Energy and Infrastructure markets, partnering with technical and business development teams to translate complex expertise into compelling, client-focused narratives that align with win strategies.
- Manage pursuit strategy and execution, including schedules, compliance, quality control, submission logistics, interview preparation, and post-submission debriefs to strengthen competitive positioning and improve capture rates.
Who You Are
- You have a "Do what needs to be done" mindset, taking ownership beyond assigned tasks and stepping in wherever needed to keep projects, teams, and customers supported and running smoothly.
- You bring 5+ years of proposal or marketing experience in the A/E/C industry, with a strong understanding of Qualifications-Based Selection (QBS).
- You are comfortable working in CRM systems and using data to inform decisions and improve processes.
- You are an exceptional writer and editor who can turn complex technical information into persuasive, client-ready messaging.
- You are highly organized, detail-oriented, and comfortable managing multiple pursuits and deadlines at once.
- You enjoy collaborating with technical professionals, business development leaders, and marketing teammates.
- You are curious, adaptable, and interested in leveraging new tools— including AI—to continuously improve how work gets done.
Nice to Have
- Bachelor’s degree in English, Communications, Marketing, Journalism, or a related field.
- Experience with Unanet-Cosential or similar CRM platforms.
- Experience supporting interview strategy and preparation.
- Familiarity with Power BI, data visualization, or proposal performance metrics.
- Experience supporting energy, infrastructure, or technical consulting pursuits.
